Chester/Delaware County, PA Chapter
Welcome to the Chester/DelCo Chapter!
We are the newest chapter of Heeding in Pennsylvania, and we came together as a community in 2013 to address the gun violence affecting our community. We are of many faiths, but we share one vision: to keep our community safe and bring an end to gun violence by eliminating illegal gun sales.
For our calendar of events, see below.

We hold monthly chapter meetings on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 4pm at Chester's Refuge in Christ Church located at 3001 W 10th St, Chester, PA 19013. All are welcome to attend!
Gun Shop Vigils
We also hold vigils twice a month at Miller's Sporting Goods at 1576 Chichester Ave, Linwood, PA 19061. We are a prayerful presence there on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Wednesday of each month from 4pm-5 as we hold Mr Miller accountable for his role in supplying illegal guns and call for him to sign our 10-point Code of Conduct. Join us as we live our faith on our feet!
Memorial to those Lost to Gun Violence in Delaware County
We have created the first ever T-shirt Memorial to the Lost for the victims of gun violence in Delaware County in the past five years. It is comprised of a heart-breaking 145 t-shirts, each representing a precious life lost. The Memorial was installed for the first time on June 21st on the lawn of Chester Eastside Ministries located at 420 E 9th St, Chester, PA 19013. (See photo below) The Delaware County Memorial to the Lost has since moved around the region, and has been hosted on the grounds of different faith communities.
